Progression/Graduation Requirements

  • All degree requirements must be completed within seven (7) calendar years of initial enrollment in Trinity’s Graduate Nursing Program.
  • Students must maintain a 3.00 GPA in graduate work. Grades of less than a B are not acceptable. 
  • The Admission and Academic Standards Committee will meet to review students each semester who earn a grade of ‘C’ or less in any course to determine progression in the program. Students who earn a grade of less than a B in any course may be dropped from the program, or permitted to progress on probation. 
  • Student’s placed on probation will have two semesters to achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. If the desired grade point average of 3.0 or higher is not achieved within the two semesters following the initial probation, the student will be dropped from the program.
  • Students must maintain current registered nurse licensure, CPR, and health status documentation.
  • Students must meet all financial obligations incurred with the College.
  • Students must apply for graduation in the semester they expect to graduate.
  • Students must meet all curricular requirements, be recommended by the registrar, and approved by the College Governing Board for graduation.
