When your program is called to the stage, bring the name card that you will find on your chair with you. Please hand the card to the faculty member who is announcing names. Wait at the top of the stairs until your name is called. Once your name is called, proceed to the center of the stage. Accept your diploma cover in your left hand, leaving your right hand free to shake hands with the Chancellor and the Governing Board Chairperson. Once you have done this please face forward so that the photographer may take a photo. After your photo has been taken, proceed across the stage to receive your College pin from your program coordinator.
Immediately following commencement, a reception will be held. The reception is open to all graduates and their guests.
