Program Coordinator's Welcome
Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences has been preparing nurses for over a century. Trinity's graduates have served our communities and beyond in a variety of health care settings. Graduates are strongly encouraged to further their education after earning their Associate of Science in Nursing. Transition into the BSN program at Trinity is seamless for our ASN graduates, and many of them matriculate into the RN-BSN Completion Program.
The strengths of the ASN program include the Harriet Olson learning laboratory, clinical experiences at Trinity Regional Health System, and our highly qualified faculty. We all work together to provide you with rich academic and clinical experiences so that you will be able to provide professional nursing care upon completion of our program.
Students receive 624 hours of clinical experience hours and are exposed to many different clinical sites throughout the Trinity health care system. Examples of clinical opportunities include the operating room, cardiac cath lab, intensive care unit, dialysis, and community health agencies just to name a few.
"I chose to go to Trinity because the faculty and staff have high academic standards and they are known for preparing excellent nurses. I also found the connection between the college and the medical center to be beneficial for clinical experiences. This provides the students with an opportunity to network after graduation."
