Overview
Explore exciting careers in healthcare at the Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences Healthcare Experience. Gain an understanding of a variety of healthcare careers and the healthcare industry during this five day, hands-on healthcare immersion. This is an ideal opportunity for you to interact with healthcare professionals, job shadow at UnityPoint Health - Trinity, experience patient simulation scenarios, and learn about careers in health care.

Requirements For Admittance
- High school student at least 16 years of age by 7-22-2024
- Complete application (Due May 1, 2024)
- Must submit vaccination records
Activities
Hospital Shadowing
Spend the two days shadowing a nurse, radiologic technologist, or laboratory technician at UnityPoint Health-Trinity.
Patient Simulation
Experience real-life health care scenarios with our state-of-the-art simulation manikins and anatomage table.
First Responder Stations
Rotate through stations with emergency medicine experts and learn life-saving skills including first aid, basic CPR, and more.
Meet Health Care Professionals
Participate in a panel discussion with health care professionals, UnityPoint Health-Trinity recruiters, and Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences staff.
