Community Involvement
Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences has deep roots within the Quad Cities community, with a presence for over 122 years. Trinity College faculty and staff role model the significance of community engagement and exemplify how giving of time and professional expertise enhances the lives of those around us.
Service Learning
Service learning is a teaching and learning strategy used within a variety of courses at Trinity College that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection. This approach combines learning goals and community service in manner that enhances both student growth and common community good. Trinity College faculty and staff believe service learning experiences enrich student learning, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities.
Volunteering
Trinity College provides students with many opportunities to volunteer within the community. Students are informed of opportunities to give back through activities such as assisting with blood drives, working at flu or vaccination clinics, serving as assistants in medical tents at community events, or volunteering at College graduations or open houses.
