Service Learning

Service learning is a teaching and learning strategy used within a variety of courses at Trinity College that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection. This approach combines learning goals and community service in manner that enhances both student growth and common community good. Trinity College faculty and staff believe service learning experiences enrich student learning, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities.

Trinity College provides students with many opportunities to volunteer within the community. Students are informed of opportunities to give back through activities such as assisting with blood drives, working at flu or vaccination clinics, serving as assistants in medical tents at community events, or volunteering at College graduations or open houses.
