Introduction

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS) program is designed for students who have completed an Associate’s degree in a healthcare field and are seeking to advance their careers or advance to graduate or professional programs such as public health, healthcare administration, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or physician assistant studies.
The program offers a broad interdisciplinary foundation in health sciences with distance education, flexible pathways for transfer and adult learners, and the opportunity to tailor electives toward specific areas of interest or professional goals.

Students in the BSHS program will also complete an internship experience at a Trinity College approved site.

The curriculum includes courses such as: Health Care Leadership, Accounting Basics, and Health Science Research.

BSHS-Distance
For students who require a flexible, distance-learning option. Designed for working professionals or students residing anywhere. Internship experiences can be completed at a local or distance, pre-approved site.

BSHS Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements

  • Graduation from a professionally accredited health sciences program
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale from an Associate Degree Program
BSHS Application Materials

The BSHS program begins in the fall semester.

Required application materials can be submitted as they are completed. All materials must be received before admission consideration. Review of completed applicant files requires 3 to 4 weeks.
