Program Chair's Welcome
Graduate Student:
I would like to welcome both prospective and current students to learn more about the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Program at Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences. Trinity has two program options for MSN education: MSN-Direct Entry and MSN-Nurse Educator. Whether you are a current RN seeking preparation as a Nurse Educator or a student with a prior non-nursing bachelor's degree seeking initial licensure as an MSN prepared direct entry level nurse, Trinity offers personalized education with excellent program outcomes. You will be taught by a group of outstanding faculty both in the classroom and in the clinical practice setting. The MSN Direct Entry option prepares the graduate for direct patient care roles and additional preparation in leadership, population health, and evidence-based practice. The MSN Nurse Educator option prepares graduates for a successful career as a nurse educator in a clinical or educational setting and includes preparation in advanced health assessment, pathophysiology, pharmacology, adult educational theory and practicum. Both program options serve as a springboard for continued education in advanced nursing practice roles.
